The ultra compact ScanSnap S1100 takes mobile and portable scanning to a new level. Small in size but powerful in everyday use, the S1100 is the versatile scanning solution for mobile workers. S1100 can process any document from business card to A4 size. Using an optional carrier sheet you can even scan delicate large documents up to A3 in size. The S1100 even supports creating multi-page PDF files by scanning one side at a time if you are feeding your documents continuously. The ScanSnap runs off a single USB cable (included) and no AC power adapter is required. ScanSnap adapts to user specific quality and speed requirements: At best, ScanSnap S1100 scans almost 8 pages per minute. ScanSnap S1100 is designed for easy operation. The unit features a single button that instantly begins the scan and then launches the Quick Menu, which presents the user with easily understandable icons for selecting the target applications like scan to e-mail, to a folder, to a Word, Excel, or even PowerPoint document. But also, ScanSnap S1100 is the unique tool to scan paper documents directly to the cloud when selecting the embedded Evernote or Google Docs icons or Microsoft SharePoint. The optional transport case protects ScanSnap S1100 when taking it along; it folds around the S1100 and allows for convenient use of ScanSnap without having to take the device out of the skin. The USB cable attaches to the S1100 through the skin.
